Ramon Ortiz(2-1) finally bested his Lewisville counterpart, Kelvim Escobar(1-1), by the score of 2 to 1. Ortiz gave Dublin a solid outing. He went 7 innings surrendering 5 hits and 2 walks. Lewisville threatened in the 9th but Dublin was able to put down the rally. John Smoltz earned the save, his 3rd. Escobar was the loser. Despite losing Adam Arnett was optimistic after the game. 'We'll get over this one. Sometimes the breaks fall your way, sometimes they don't. Any one of a dozen little things go different, and we come out on top.'
